Sefa Visa acts as a data processor on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Data collected during the visa application process is processed for purposes determined by the Embassy. As the data controller, the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ultimately responsible for the processing of your data.
We collect the following information during the visa application process: Personal identification information (name, surname, date of birth, place of birth), Passport and travel document information, Contact information (address, phone, email), Biometric data (photograph, fingerprint), Travel plans and accommodation information, Financial status and employment information.
Collected personal data is used only for the following purposes: Processing and evaluating your visa application, Identity verification and security checks, Statistical analysis and reporting, Fulfilling legal obligations. Your data is not used for purposes other than these and is not shared with third parties.
We take technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers. Only authorized personnel can access your data to the extent necessary to perform their duties.
Your personal data is retained for the period necessary to process your visa application and in accordance with legal retention obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the visa type and relevant legislation. When the retention period expires, your data is securely destroyed.
